PVP, PK Information

Blue Names:: Player is in shield mode; they cannot attack or be attacked by any players.

White Names: Player is currently neutral. They may have activated PK mode but has yet to attack anyone.

Pink Names:: Player has definitely killed other players. In this mode you have a chance to lose items from your inventory and your equipment slots if you are killed while infamous, so be careful!

Red name:: Player has killed many other players. Be careful of red names because you can be next. The more kills you rack up the longer you will stay in this mode. The punishment for death while you have a red name is far more severe than usual. Killing monsters at or above your level will reduce the duration of being infamous.

Note: There are lots of safe zones in Perfect World. You can't PK in these areas.

Note: Players are forced into PK status during Territory Wars and some special activities. There is no death penalty during these times.

Death Penalty

When dying in the game there is always a penalty. Whether it be just exp lost or something more severe.

YOU CAN LOSE ITEMS IF NOT BOUND TO YOUR TOON, OR SAFETY LOCK IS ON, OOOORRRRR YOU HAVE GUARDIAN SCROLLS IN YOUR INVENTORY (die with a guardian scroll, you lose one scroll just an FYI reminder)

Note: Items Currently Equipped Include: Weapons, Armor, Accessories, Flying Mounts, Mystical Tomes, and Chat items.

Note: All items within your inventory may be dropped, with the exception of items that are bound.

Players of different levels and server types will have different PK restrictions. They are as follows:

PvP Server

Level 1-29: Between these levels the users are not permitted to enter PK mode. They cannot attack or be attacked by other players.

Level 30 and higher: These levels are free to PK. Once users become this level they are flagged for PVP. There is no way to turn it off but areas like cities will still be considered safe zones and will be PK off.

PvE Server

Level 1-29: Between these levels the users are not permitted to enter PK mode. They cannot attack or be attacked by other players.

Level 30 and higher: These levels are free to PK but in order to do so the player must activate it themselves. In this way a user will not have to PK if they do not want to unless they enter areas that require PK like territory wars.

Guardian Angel
Character loses no EXP or items when killed.
Binding Charms
Bound equipment will not drop if your character dies, and can not be traded, discarded, sold, or decomposed. You can destroy bound equipment at the PW Promotion Agent. The destroy process takes 72 hours, during which it can be canceled.
Gold Guardian Charms
Fully recovers HP if below 50%. 600,000 HP.
Cooldown 10 seconds.
Gold Spirit Charms
Fully recovers MP if below 75%. 900,000 MP.
Cooldown 5 seconds.
Silver Guardian Charms
Fully recovers HP if below 50%. 350,000 HP.
Cooldown 10 seconds.
Silver Spirit Charms
Fully recovers MP if below 75%. 525,000 MP.
Cooldown 5 seconds.
Bronze Guardian Charms
Fully recovers HP if below 50%. 100,000 HP.
Cooldown 10 seconds.
Bronze Spirit Charms
Fully recovers MP if below 75%. 150,000 MP.
